# Zookeeping – managing heterogenous environments
Most resources and best practices in the configuration management world center around automating deployment and configuration of larg-scale homogenous environments, where few applications are to be deployed tens or hundred of times. But what should you do if your datacenter instead consists of hundreds of different applications, most of them with their own needs and deployed less than five times on average? This presentation will talk about the does and don’ts in this scenario, and how to leverage the powers of Foreman and Puppet for that.
A short biography follows soon.
